This is an independent, educational planning calculator for Utah first responders, military members, and other Utah public safety employees. It illustrates how a URS pension, defined contribution savings, 457(b) savings, and Social Security estimates might combine at retirement, based on figures and assumptions you supply.

It is not financial, investment, tax, legal, or retirement advice, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by using it.

This app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Utah Retirement Systems, the State of Utah, the Social Security Administration, or any fire department or employer. Official benefit figures come only from those organizations.

Results are estimates produced from assumptions that may be incomplete, simplified, or out of date. Pension formulas, eligibility rules, reduction factors, contribution limits, and cost-of-living caps change and may differ for your specific circumstances and service history.

Before making any decision about retiring, contributing, choosing a survivor option, or taking a partial lump sum, confirm the numbers with Utah Retirement Systems, the Social Security Administration, and a qualified professional.

• Provide accurate figures — the output is only as good as the input.
• Keep your account credentials to yourself and use a strong, unique password.
• Do not enter Social Security numbers, URS login credentials, bank or brokerage account numbers, or other sensitive identifiers. They are not needed and must not be submitted.
• Do not upload unlawful content, attempt to breach security, scrape at scale, or interfere with other users.
• Do not present this tool's output as an official URS benefit statement.
